Sales
The interview process was straightforward and involved background questions. It started with a recruiter chat, followed by a meeting with the manager, and then interaction with the team. It was a good process with many relevant background questions, and the difficulty was average.
- Tell me about your quota experience.
- What motivates you to pursue a career in sales?
- Why are you the right fit for this role?
Content Manager
The recruiting manager was great, we had a good conversation about my background and the role. The hiring manager was very nice, but seems like she lost interest half way through. Additionally, the recruiting manager stated that the interview would be 45 minutes, but instead was 30 minutes. I think it was an honest mistake, but it caught me off guard when the hiring manager said we were almost at time. Had I moved forward, I would have been hesitant, seems like they wanted several more meetings with other staff members and a final project presentation interview.
- How would you handle prioritizing tasks when working with different teams?
Web Developer
The interview process included an aptitude and reasoning test, a technical interview, a managerial interview, and an HR interview. It was a good interview and covered major computer science topics. The interviewers were friendly, but only a few people were selected in the end.
- Tell me about Operating Systems, DBMS, OOPS, and Computer Networks.
- Can you answer some questions about data structures?
Account Executive
I went in for an interview for an account executive position at an agency, doing the same kind of work as before. It was around noon and everyone was at their desks, quiet, with the lights low, eyes glued to their screens. I noticed the place seemed a bit lifeless. In the conference room, the interviewer, a new Account Supervisor, asked me what I look for in an agency. I said I prefer a nurturing environment where people get along and aren't so rigid, since advertising is a creative field. He gave me a harsh look and said work is a business. He then insulted me, calling me unprofessional, even though I was wearing a suit and tie. This all happened in the first 3 minutes.
- What qualities do you seek in an agency?
