Production Support Analyst
I sent in my application online on October 10th. Around November 4th, I got a request to submit a video interview. Then, on November 25th, they rang me up to set up the next interview, which was set for December 1st. The interviewer mentioned I'd hear back within two weeks, but they actually took three weeks to get in touch. They only sent automated messages for the interviews and the rejection email, no personal communication. I followed up after two weeks, but they never replied. The interview itself wasn't too tough, but the whole thing dragged on forever and they barely communicated.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- What are your key strengths and areas for development?
- Walk me through a situation where you encountered a difficult problem and how you resolved it.
Graphic Designer
The entire interview process spanned approximately five weeks. It kicked off with a brief recruiter call, lasting no more than 30 minutes. Next, there was an interview with the creative director, which was longer than 30 minutes. Following that, I was assigned a task to design a flyer adhering to the brand's style guide. The process concluded with a panel interview that ran longer than its scheduled hour, originally planned for about 45 minutes. The questions throughout were direct and easy to answer, and the interviewers were pleasant and approachable. I was disappointed to be ghosted at the end and not receive even an email stating they chose another candidate, especially given the time and effort invested in the rounds and the take-home assignment, which I thought was uncalled for.
- Can you introduce yourself and mention some of your hobbies?
- What makes you want to work for this company?
- Could you describe your typical daily work routine?
Call Center Verification Specialist
I applied online on 01/06/16 and the job closed on 01/12/16. I got a call on 01/21/16 to see if I was still interested, and I was. They asked me 5 questions about things like hours, pay, and being on time for training. Then they set up a phone interview with a manager for the next day. That call was about 10 minutes, and the manager asked 5 more general questions and said someone would call me. Two days later, I got a call to schedule an in-person interview. I got there 15 minutes early, and there was one other person waiting. They took us both up at the same time. I waited a bit, then went into an office with two managers. They gave a detailed rundown of the job, training, schedule, and chances for promotion. After that, they took turns asking me 6 general questions from a list and then asked if I had any questions. I did, and they answered them. They said they'd decide by 02/04/16 and HR would call me. On 02/04/16, HR called with a conditional offer, pending a background check and drug test. We talked about my hourly rate. They tell you upfront what they offer and let you negotiate within that range based on your experience.
- Can you describe a type of customer that is challenging to help and explain your approach to assisting them?
Project Benefits Analyst
Got contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn, they were upfront about the pay and responsibilities. Had a phone call with her where I confirmed my salary needs were on the higher end of the range, which was fine. She then sent my resume over. The first round was with my potential manager and right after, the recruiter reached out to move to round 2. Before round 2, I had to apply directly on the company website, and the maximum pay there was higher than what I was initially told, even though I was overqualified. Round 2 started with an HR person discussing benefits in more detail (direct-hire role). She mentioned the advertised pay on their portal was incorrect and didn't even reach the top of the range the recruiter initially gave me. Part 2 of round 2 involved other leaders plus the boss, and I could tell the work environment was not good, especially for a remote position. They wanted me for a final interview round, but I turned it down.
- Can you tell me about the differences between your current role and your past one?
