I had an initial chat with someone from HR or a hiring manager. They asked me some standard questions that seemed to come from the Social/Marketing team. After that, there was a mandatory social media quiz that took about an hour. It wasn't great doing free work before an interview, but the quiz was manageable. Then, I met in person with a senior manager for another interview. We had a good conversation, and they asked me some easy questions. I didn't hear back after that last interview.

Behavioral Presentation

It was a pretty standard interview process. There were two interviews: one with direct reports and another with the VP and President. The direct reports were quite friendly and easy to talk to, but the VP and President were very serious, and I couldn't gauge how I did. The President told me not to send a thank you email, but I sent one anyway. Nothing particularly memorable about the whole thing.

It was a pretty straightforward process, they mainly wanted to gauge if you're sharp and have a genuine interest in the entertainment industry. The interview involved three rounds, each with a different director. All the questions were behavioral, focusing on aspects like leadership qualities. Keep in mind that production finance roles aren't directly involved in production, finance, or creative work; they function as intermediaries handling accounting and audit tasks.

Had an HR phone call where we talked about availability and salary. Then I had an in-person meeting. It was with the hiring manager and was pretty low-key. We did a lot of get-to-know-you questions and some questions about my work history.
