So, there were 3 interviews with management. First up was an HR manager for basic questions to gauge your experience and skills. Then, the operations manager dug a bit deeper into your management style and how you'd handle certain scenarios. Lastly, the Director of Operations, who's in charge of all manager training, got personal and wanted to know who you are beyond your resume. It's a thorough process, really focusing on compatibility over just experience and skills.

My interview was scheduled for a certain date, but they called me in early because the assistant GM had the wrong date written down. I was interviewed by the assistant GM and the GM. We sat in the restaurant for the interview. After that, I was called back for training, and then I had to take a test about the menu. They seemed really focused on whether I was willing to work hard and stay for a while, because a lot of places like this have high turnover.
