The hiring process is pretty quick and straightforward, not a ton of red tape. From what I’ve seen, they care a lot more about your general vibe, attitude, and how you come across in conversations than strictly your years of experience. If you’re personable, motivated, and can communicate well, you’ll likely do well with them.

HR called me first for a phone interview, then they called again to schedule an in-person interview. The first person I met with, a supervisor, was friendly and asked regular questions. But the hiring manager, who I met the same day, was tough. She made comments like 'education doesn't matter' and I felt it was unfair that I had to justify my salary expectations based on it being higher than my last job. I have more education and experience now than before. It was insulting to hear that my experience and education weren't good enough reasons because she thought they were worthless. She also doubted my ability to work there, saying the job is a 7/5 on the stress scale, which left a bad impression.

After submitting my resume, I got an email from a recruiter asking for a phone screen. The recruiting staff was really friendly and warm, it was the most humane and down-to-earth phone screen I've ever had. The process itself was a bit disorganized, with room changes and uncertainty about who I was talking to or why, but everyone was super friendly and understanding. I got an offer and negotiation was easy. The onboarding was a bit scattered too, but people were very willing to help.

The interview process at Fusion Worldwide was one of the best I've ever had. The recruitment team is amazing and put in a lot of effort to prep candidates. They told me what questions to expect and gave tips on what the interviewers wanted to hear. I used those tips for each person I talked to, and I saw their eyes light up. I know I had the right skill set, but I think recruiting really helped me seal the deal.
