I interviewed with Fusion Connect and thought it went well, but then I was ghosted. I never heard back and they didn't respond to my emails. It was very unprofessional. After checking reviews, I guess it's a good thing I didn't get hired.

This interview process was one of the most confusing and disorganized I've seen for this job level. The first interview was with a recruiter, and scheduling was inconsistent. When I finally reached the recruiter, she seemed disorganized, unsure about the position, its requirements, or the next steps. She even talked to people in the background during our chat. The questions were basic, as I felt like I was interrupting her personal conversations. After that, I was moved forward to meet with the director. This interview was more organized and on time. However, a second person joined, and I was never properly introduced to her or her role. I didn't receive any contact info for either of them, but the interview seemed to go well. They mentioned the next steps would be another video interview or an offer, but they weren't sure and said I'd be informed in a day or two. I waited three days and followed up with the recruiter. I asked for the contact information of the two people I met, but she said she couldn't provide it and would follow up. I followed up three more times and never heard back. Even a simple rejection would have been nice, but this place is so disorganized and unprofessional that I didn't expect one. Given recent news about mergers, layoffs, and confusion, it might be a blessing in disguise.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

First, an HR person emailed me to set up a phone call with the director, who would be my boss. Then, I went to the office for a second interview with him. After that, I met individually with each of the finance department's supervisors and managers. I really liked this part because I got to know the culture and the people better. Finally, after talking salary with HR over email, I had an interview with the VP of finance at the office. HR congratulated me the same day, and I started two weeks later.

The recruiter called me first and I answered some questions they had about my background and salary expectations. Then I went in for an onsite interview where I spoke with a panel of interviewers who took turns asking me questions. A few days after the interview, I got a call back with an offer.
