First, I introduced myself. Then, I had a presentation where I showed my portfolios. After that, there was a Q&A session about my portfolios, focusing on how I progress my designs and which parts I personally designed. Finally, we had a discussion about various issues related to industrial design.

They responded pretty fast after I reached out. I had an interview a couple of weeks later. I'm still waiting to hear back about the job offer.

After networking with employees for about 8 months, I applied for a role. The initial phone screen was brief. Then, I was given a mini-project to develop business concepts and a presentation. I discussed this presentation in a phone interview with two strategists. The next step was an in-person interview with two strategists and the director of strategy. I asked for feedback at the end and received positive comments. However, I was rejected two weeks later after sending three follow-up emails. One interviewer did send feedback notes after I requested them, mentioning a lack of visual design skill and general 'experience,' which I wish had been communicated during the interview. Despite the outcome, the team was friendly and professional.

Behavioral Presentation

I met with the Brand director, Kristine Arth, who was very welcoming and friendly, and put me at ease instantly. I really liked the atmosphere; it was informal but still reflected what they do. I spent about 30 minutes showcasing my work and we had detailed discussions about many of my projects and my process. We had open, intelligent conversations about design, and it started to feel less like an interview and more like a chat between two designers. It was fun and insightful for me!
