Everyone I met with was friendly, professional and sharp. It seemed like a great culture where people were happy working together. There were three steps total and I met with most of the high level folks.

First you do a quick phone call with the recruiter, they tell you about Funny or Die and the job. After that, you do a quick coding test on CoderPad where you have to manipulate strings, like reversing one. If you pass that, you come in for an onsite interview. During the onsite, they go deeper into Funny or Die's plans and your role. Then, you get a code exercise to build a feature for Funny or Die. It was a fun challenge.

Got a really fast reply to my application, within an hour. Started with a phone screening, then later that week, I had a one-on-one with the hiring manager. After that, I interviewed with some other people in the same office. Then, on a separate day, there was a phone interview with someone who was out of office but worked closely with the role. Lastly, there were phone interviews with the team based in Los Angeles.

I got an interview invite fast, but then it took over a month for them to make a hiring decision. Maybe they just had trouble coordinating schedules. Funny or Die seems like a cool place to work, and the people there are pretty chill, so I bet they're nice to work with.
