I applied online and then a recruiter reached out. First, I had a quick chat with the recruiter, followed by a 45-minute interview with the hiring manager. After those first two steps, I went through five more one-on-one interviews with people at the company, ranging from Director to Sr. VP. Each of these was 30 minutes long, and it seemed like the interviewers had a list of HR questions they wanted to ask, which made the conversations feel more structured and less free-flowing. After the seventh interview, I waited 15 days without hearing anything, then got a simple email saying they were moving forward with other candidates, without any specific feedback.

Since I did an internship at the company one summer, I was referred to the CEO by my boss when I was getting close to graduation. The CEO contacted me via phone to set up an interview with Marketing higher-ups. 1. I had a phone interview about 3 weeks before my in-person interview. 2. When I returned from college, I went into the office for an in-person interview. I did this right after I finished college. 3. I passed these interviews and was offered the job at the end of that week.

Applied for another job in Dec 2014, they said they'd schedule an interview after the first contact but never heard back. Tried for a different role I was excited about and HR contacted me for a phone interview. They liked me and scheduled an in-person interview. Several employees interviewed me, which was standard but I wish I'd known beforehand it wasn't 1:1. Haven't heard back since the interview, even after reaching out to HR and the interviewers. Found out through an employee that they hired someone else. Would have appreciated a simple email letting me know they went another direction, because the silence is unprofessional and rude.

Got initial contact, then had some phone interviews that were pretty chill and just a way to get to know each other. After that, I went in for a 1-on-1. Before the interview, there was a skills test involving artwork and how I'd fix product art. I think I managed that okay. During the actual interview part, it felt like they'd already decided on someone because the interviewer seemed to be just going through the motions and wasn't really paying attention. I spoke with HR, did some paperwork for a background check, and then never heard back. About 5-6 months later, HR contacted me about a different job. I went in to interview with two people for a new role, after a super long wait. Again, no word back, but I did find out from a friend they hired someone from within for that position.
