The interview process went smoothly. It was a 3 person panel interview where they ask you a series of questions ranging from work personality, gauging how you dealt with a problem in past experiences, and at least 2 technical questions. If you have experience working with construction, then it's beneficial to at least let them know you have an aptitude to search for answers through either specifications manuals and GIS systems.

This interview process was focused on transitioning from a consultant role to an in-house position. The main goal was to understand how I would build and manage a team to handle tasks previously outsourced to a consulting firm. Key discussion points included defining responsibilities, staffing the team, determining location, and establishing compensation methods.

The hiring and interviewing process felt legit when I was first brought on board. However, after being with the company for some time, I realized the process seemed to heavily favor employees that management personally preferred or liked. The interviews were conducted in a way that made them look legitimate.

The hiring and interview process can be really frustrating. It usually takes weeks, if not months, from when you apply to when you get an offer. Fulton County has a panel interview for every employee to try and avoid lawsuits. They ask the same questions to everyone, don't ask follow-up questions, and then score you to decide if they hire you. It's kind of like a verbal technical test.
