First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fullmind.
Virtual Tutor
They were quick to respond and explained every step. The interview process was fair. After finishing the application, they asked if I wanted to move forward with the demo lesson. No actual interview was required.
- I had to give a demo lesson, and they provided examples and a sample lesson.
- Then I had to turn in a lesson agenda and a short video of me teaching a lesson based on that agenda.
Research Director
Had some straightforward conversations about shared ideas and the vision for this role (the value, purpose, focus). Met with multiple execs to see where the role would fit within the current company structure.
- What is your vision for research at iTutor?
Teacher
The interviewer was nice and seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. I left the conversation feeling really good about the company. I've actually worked for ITutor in various roles for years, alongside my main job. They're known for being really flexible and supportive.
- Can you discuss your background?
Teacher
I submitted a 10 minute demo lesson and heard back within 48 hours. It wasn't a traditional interview. Instead, they gather what they need from watching you in action. You are provided with a rubric and a teaching model.
- Submit a demo lesson of 10-15 minutes, adhering to their instructional framework.
