Senior Manager
It can be tough finding a job these days with all the long processes and no communication. But my experience with Fullcast was totally different. Their interview process was great, really genuine, and fast. I had three rounds, and the recruiter kept in touch after every step. That kind of openness and real interest showed me Fullcast was where I wanted to be.

Sales Engineer
I applied for a job at Copy.ai a while back and the process was super messy. First, they cancelled my interview last minute saying the role was filled, even though I'd already been invited. Then I reapplied and got through a bunch of interviews - recruiter screen, hiring manager chat, and a deep dive with a solutions engineer. The next step was a final on-site interview, so I took time off work for it. But then they told me they wanted me to interview for a different job instead (pre-sales instead of post-sales). The pre-sales interview was all over the place, just like 2-3 questions, and then they wanted me to lead the whole conversation with my own questions. The interviewer seemed totally checked out and just wanted to get to my questions, which was weird since I'd already talked to so many people. They rejected me by email a few days later, and I never even got a real shot to show what I could do for that role. The whole hiring process was disorganized with constant changes and unclear expectations. The final decision felt rushed and not based on a real evaluation. They also wasted my time by making me take PTO for an interview that ended up not being what they initially said it was. If you're thinking of applying, expect a lack of transparency and changing plans. I expected better for a senior role and wouldn't recommend them until they fix how they treat candidates.

Software Engineer
The interview process here is long, kinda complicated and honestly a bit redundant. It even got pretty shady and put me in a really awkward spot. The whole schedule was like this: 1st interview - 30-45 mins (first screener). 2nd interview - 30-45 mins (second screener, same chat as the first but with someone else). 3rd interview - 1hr (tech challenge). 4th interview - 1hr (systems design). 5th interview - 1 hr (product design). 6th interview - 30min (goals and experience chat). 7th interview - 1-2hrs (chat with the CEO). Some interviewers were totally unprepared. I had to repeat myself a lot because it seemed like nobody talked to each other. They also couldn't tell me what they were actually looking for. One interview really put me on the spot asking about my private business relationships and financial arrangements, which felt irrelevant to the job. It felt like they were trying to get me to reveal private info. They said I did well in programming and design but 'not very well' in other areas. Out of the seven interviews, 3 were programming/design, 2 were intros, 1 was a casual chat with the CEO/CTO, and the last one was the interrogation about my business relationships. I guess I didn't get the offer because of that last chat. I'm fine with not getting an offer, I'd rather work somewhere that respects candidates.

Senior Frontend Engineer
First met with a recruiter for about 30 minutes, which was a good chat, got lots of info about the job and company. I decided not to continue after learning there were 7 more steps plus getting referrals approved to even get an offer. The other steps were a 1 hour live leet-code style interview, a virtual onsite with the head of engineering, another 1 hour React technical para programming interview, a 30 min cultural interview, a 30 min call with the product team, and finally a 30 min call with a co-founder, then an offer contingent on approved referrals.
