First, there was contact through a recruitment agency. Then, I had an online call with an HR person and also completed some online Thomas.co assessments. You can practice the Thomas Aptitude Assessment (GIA) online for free and score easily. The next step was a conversation with someone from the IT department. The questions during that interview were vague and general, and I still don't know what I answered incorrectly. After the interview, I never heard back from the company, not even a standard rejection. I find that very rude.
- Were you asked if you had experience implementing external software solutions within an organization, considering the Reuse-Buy-Build principle?
Manufacturing Technician
It was a really quick and easy process to get through the interview and start working. They provided training that explained the job duties before and during my start date. The team was friendly, which made the workplace feel welcoming and comfortable.
- How do you collaborate with colleagues?

The interview started with going over my resume. Then, I was asked how, as a recent business college grad, I am working as a recruiter, implying something was wrong with me. I explained that college grads don't get these positions right away due to lack of experience. After that, I was asked to rate my Excel skills, and when I said 9 out of 10, I was laughed at. The recruiter then said, "oh well you must know how to do pivot tables right?" The tone of the interview felt like I was being looked down upon. As a recruiter myself, I would never act superior to anyone, even for a basic position. I have experience using SAP/ERP for a sales company, checking inventory, and providing high customer service through internships and jobs. I also have a supply chain certification and believe I met all the company's requirements, but I wouldn't accept a position even if offered. At the end, I asked a couple of questions about dealing with international vendors, which the recruiter couldn't answer. I won't pursue this company again, but HR needs to seriously train their recruiters. Recruiters are the face of a company and significantly impact its success. Prioritizing personal feelings or biases over company interests puts the company at risk. For some reason, this recruiter seemed to have an issue, which overshadowed the entire interview.
- Can you rate your Excel skills?
- Tell me about your ERP/SAP experience.

I applied online and the interview was pretty straightforward. It mainly focused on my experience and educational background, and how I could contribute to the company's success. They also checked my technical skills. Overall, it was a great experience because the interviewers were very experienced in their fields. They didn't ask any unusual questions.
- Were there any difficult or unexpected questions?
