Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fuddruckers.
Manager
The hiring manager was not very pleasant during his questioning, and there were two interviewers present: one nice and one not so nice. I was asked about my previous employment history, and Mr. Doss specifically probed about my frequent job changes, which I disputed. Unexpectedly, I was given an IQ test that I initially thought were trick questions. Once I realized they were straightforward, I found them easy, but I would have performed better with more preparation.
- Be ready to discuss your previous experience in the industry. They might use a 'Good Cop, Bad Cop' strategy to unsettle you.
Assistant Manager
First, there's a phone interview to go over your work experience. Then, another phone interview where the Assistant Lead talks to you for about 20 minutes. If they like you, they'll ask you to come to one of the stores for an in-person interview. This one-on-one is pretty chill. You'll chat about everything from your hobbies to why you like the company. It was one of the simplest interviews I've had.
- In your experience as a manager, what would you say is your biggest weakness?
Assistant Manager
They really focused on my previous experience at similar jobs. They wanted to make sure I would be ok working all hours and would take customer service seriously. Previous work experience in the food or hospitality industry was a huge plus as well. Basic understanding of computers and software as well as management experience was also touched on. Overall the process was very straight forward.
- Why would you be a valuable asset to Fuddruckers?
