Applied on the company website, got a call the next day. Flew out the morning after (Friday) for an interview, and received a job offer on Monday. Started the role a week later. They didn't cover flight costs, though some positions might offer it now. No relocation assistance was provided. Things might have changed since the economic downturn. The interview process was pretty chill, starting with a meal at a Mexican restaurant nearby, then moving to a conference room, and finishing with a meeting with my future team.

The interview process was delayed due to the large number of applicants. A job fair was conducted over several days, catering to various positions including management, supervisory, technical, and laborer roles. The company culture seems to involve a lot of travel and mandatory overtime for many jobs. The person interviewing me wasn't a standard HR rep, but more like a manager or engineer. About a dozen interview tables were set up in one room, with multiple interviews happening at the same time. This was a preliminary interview to screen for specific knowledge, skills, and abilities. It was pretty challenging to have the interview with so many distractions around. Definitely an unusual experience.

It was a really chill interview process. They asked direct questions about my experience and education. Scheduling the second interview took a bit of effort, but they were cool about it, especially with the holidays. They were happy to answer questions about pay, benefits, and what the job entails.
