It was a really long and in-depth interview process, more than I've ever been through before. It was interesting, maybe a little confusing. I talked to a bunch of executives and the engineering team. The execs asked broad, general questions about my career, looking for examples of specific skills, not the really technical stuff an engineer would get. Some interviews focused on personal values, which I thought were presented a bit awkwardly. Values can come from anywhere, and sometimes not having great role models growing up actually motivates you to build your own strong values and grow as a person. It's hard to articulate that on the spot. I also got a tour of the facility and found it interesting, especially seeing how they operate compared to my manufacturing background, noting the differences and similarities. The engineering team seemed pretty straightforward and didn't ask questions that felt impossible to answer. Overall, it was a good experience.

The whole process was pretty long, which was a bit of a drag at the time, but honestly, I appreciate a company that makes sure they're hiring good people who are genuinely into growing the company.

HR reached out to me, and then there was a long wait of about a month before I heard back. The whole thing took a while, and in the second month, they made me take an IQ test and a Microsoft Excel test. The main interview involved meeting with a group of the team who acted as a panel, and they each took turns asking me questions.

It was a really long interview process with way too many rounds. It felt like almost everyone was interviewing me. They call it 'culture,' but I'm not sure it is. People seemed friendly enough, but it didn't feel genuine. It's a competitive field, and some clarity would have been helpful.
