First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frost Brown Todd.
Legal Technology Consultant
I had a really good experience interviewing. It took about a month, but it was totally worth it. They did a face-to-face interview with a partner and another one over Zoom, and it felt both professional and pretty relaxed. I was really impressed with how everything went and especially liked the people I talked to – they were super professional and nice.
- The questions were specific to the role.
- If you know the job you're applying for, the questions are not hard.
Summer Associate
So first I had this OCI interview with a partner, it was like 20 min long, and then they invited me for a callback interview. The callback was an onsite thing. In the morning, I had one-on-one interviews with 5 different people, some were partners and some were associates, and each interview was about 20 to 30 minutes. Then at noon, I had lunch with 2 associates. In the afternoon, there was a panel interview with 5 partners, and it lasted about 1.5 hours.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with conflict.
Legal Assistant
The interview process was really unprofessional. Communication was very limited. I logged into the Zoom call on time, but nobody joined, and I was later marked absent without any explanation. I had to reach out myself to get a response, and even then, they didn't try to sort things out or reschedule. The entire thing felt messy and like they didn't respect my time.
- Can you describe your experience with legal filings and managing documents?
Mechanical Engineer
So, first up is submitting your materials, which means sending in your resume, cover letter, and sometimes filling out an initial application form. This is basically your chance to really show off your skills and experience and make a good impression on paper, or, you know, on screen!
- Recruiters or hiring managers will review these applications to see if you meet the basic qualifications for the role.
- Sometimes, this stage might involve a quick phone call to clarify details.
- Or they might ask a few initial questions.
