First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frontline Insurance.
Desk Adjuster
There were 3 rounds of interviews. The first was a remote call with the recruiter. Then, there was a call with the hiring manager, and finally one with the directors. They asked general questions about the workflow and past work history. All interviews were on Teams and lasted about an hour.
- Can you share an instance where you had a differing opinion from your manager?
Recruiter
The interview process was unorganized. There wasn't an interview room or even a place to sit when I arrived. After a brief 20-minute conversation, they said they'd call within 48 hours about next steps and a potential offer. They never called back and ghosted me. It was completely unprofessional and a terrible way to treat candidates.
- Can you share your background and recruiting experience?
Financial Analyst
The interview process was very smooth with great open communication throughout. I had a professional recruiter with great leadership who kept me updated on any communication from the company. After the first interview, I was told the Hiring Manager really wanted me, believing my experience and skills would be a great addition. After meeting with the CFO and discussing my experience, skills, and providing examples, I was denied the opportunity at Frontline Insurance. The hiring manager emailed saying I lacked experience in the Budget process and the financial analysis they needed, despite my 11 years as a Financial Analyst with extensive budget experience. They mentioned hiring someone with less experience and stated I had all the experience they required. I want to know the real reason for their decision.
- Can you discuss your experience and knowledge regarding the Budget process and financial analysis?
- Describe how you handle working with difficult individuals.
- Tell me about your background with the budget process.
Underwriting Assistant Customer Service Representative
I sent in my application on LinkedIn and heard back from the hiring manager about a week later. They sent over a link for a personality assessment which I completed. Then, within 24 hours, the hiring manager reached out to set up an interview.
- Can you describe your experience in your current role?
- What motivates your interest in working for Frontline?
- What are your salary requirements?
