First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frontline Consulting Services.
Security Officer
The whole interview thing was pretty well organized. The people interviewing me were nice and professional, so it wasn't too stressful. They kept me in the loop about what was going on. Just be ready for some deep technical questions and make sure you can talk about your past projects.
- Can you elaborate on your past projects?
- What are your technical skills?
- Can you tell me about your experience with behavioral questions?
Software Developer
First, there was a written test with 60 questions covering aptitude, data interpretation, verbal reasoning, English, and technical (C, C++). The time limit was an hour, with no negative marking and no sectional cutoffs. Getting about half the questions correct guaranteed advancement. After that, a group discussion (GD) followed, which was quite easy; it was hard to get disqualified, but dominating the discussion could lead to disqualification. Then came a technical interview, which was the most crucial round. They asked questions based on my CV, focusing on my projects and subjects like C, OOPs, data structures, DBMS, OS (which was a long discussion as I'm strong in it), and Networking. It's important to have clear basics and logical thinking ability rather than knowing everything in detail. Finally, I was given a coding challenge. Although I wasn't formally interviewed by HR, I received an offer.
- Could you explain how to find the GCD for three numbers?
Java Developer
So, the whole process was pretty straightforward. First, there was a written test that took about an hour and had 60 questions covering data interpretation, verbal reasoning, quantitative aptitude, programming, and logical reasoning. After that, we had a group discussion (GD) with a pretty large group, like 15 people or more. Then, there was a technical interview, which was actually quite easy. Finally, an HR interview, which was also okay.
- What are your reasons for wanting to work in Hyderabad?
Equity Analyst
The interview process started with a lengthy written test covering finance and aptitude topics. This was followed by a personal interview with an equity researcher and the company chairman. This second stage was more of a technical interview, evaluating my technical knowledge and also discussing salary. They asked more questions related to equity.
