The interview was pretty chill and nice. I was one of many people interviewing. Everything was done following strict Covid guidelines. The assistant controller asked most of the questions, and the Controller asked a few. The assistant controller answered my questions, and the Controller gave more detail if needed.

I was called in for an in-person interview with my potential boss and some other senior data analysts who joined via phone. They asked for details about my work history and the technologies I've used, which was more technical than the second interview. A few days later, I got a call for a second follow-up panel interview with people from the department I'd be working in. I felt both interviews went really well. After two weeks of silence, I called the hiring manager and found out I was the runner-up.

My interview experience with the Program Administrator felt superficial. She didn't ask anything about my experience with crisis situations or any skill-based questions. The hiring supervisor seemed disengaged, showing no real interest in getting to know me despite my 35 years in mental health, which included director and executive roles. It was quite insulting when the hiring manager asked about my past supervisory experience when my resume was right there. I had to point out that my resume already detailed this information. This clearly showed she wasn't planning to move forward with my application.

The interview process involved the medical records manager and HR. They asked several questions. I was offered the position after two weeks, pending a background and drug check. The working environment was okay for the first 30 days after being hired, but then the medical records manager's true nature came out. It was a medical records nightmare, so don't apply.
