First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Pharmacy Assistant
After applying on the NHS Trac website, I had a fairly informal in-person interview with two people. They asked about my prior pharmacy experience and how I'd handle specific scenarios. I was informed that I wouldn't get a response until the end of the week once all candidates had been interviewed. An offer was extended.
- Can you tell me what the trust's values are?
Clinical Administrator
It was a pretty long interview, about 1.5 hours total. Lots of group activities and problem-solving were involved. I also had to do a mini presentation, and they asked some direct questions to us individually.
- What attributes define a good clinical administrator?
Human Resources Advisor
I had an interview with the HRBP and a senior advisor. They asked me competency-based questions. I had to wear a mask the whole time, which made it hard to explain things. I felt the HRBP was rude and condescending.
- Can you tell me about a time you had to interact with someone you didn't have a good relationship with?
Filing Clerk
I had an interview with medical records management which made it easy to settle into the environment. Also, I did a day's training actually working in the medical records department. Finally, there was an hour or so introduction to the PAS software used by the hospital to track medical records. A 2 day induction course was also run for all new employees, myself included.
