The whole process was really nice. I applied online, then got a call for a phone interview. After that, I went in for an in-person interview. The office looked great inside, super welcoming. I had 3 interviews in total, with different levels depending on how things were going. First up was the marketing team, just to see if I could do the work. They were fun, made me feel relaxed, like a casual chat. They asked stuff but not in a scary way, didn't feel like a test. Next, I met the CEO, but honestly, I didn't even know who I was talking to at first, had to ask! He was a cool, smart guy, really impressive. He asked me some online marketing questions, nothing too crazy. Last interview was with the founder. Super chill guy, easy to talk to. By then, I'd talked a lot about myself, so it was nice to just chat about other things like travel, family, and cultures. It felt like he just wanted to see if I'd fit in with the company. I really liked meeting everyone, the team and the leaders. They made it seem like a great place to work. I turned down the offer because I got a better one from somewhere else that was also closer to home, but it was a tough call. I'd totally recommend this place based on my experience!

I went through a phone interview where they asked me basic questions. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview. The interview setting was quite odd, and the questions repeated much of what was already asked on the phone, which was a bit bothersome. The interviewers also seemed unprofessional, often looking at their phones and not making much eye contact. A few days later, I got a short email stating they decided to pursue other candidates. Honestly, I'm relieved I didn't get the job, considering the people I would have worked with.

It was a pretty straightforward and casual interview process. I had a great conversation with the National Sales Director. He didn't leave me hanging after that call as the next two meetings were immediately scheduled with the CEO, then again with the Sales Director to get a better idea of how they pitched the product. The last step of the process was meeting the CEO in person who came off as a very genuine and easy to talk to guy. I only met with those two contacts, but they were relatively casual conversations. It seemed that once they vetted skills and ability they tried to get to know you as a person more to see if you would be a fit for their culture. I chose to take the offer based on the excellent potential that I saw in the company, and trust I had in the leadership that I met with there. The offer wasn't as competitive as I hoped in terms of compensation, but the intangibles were there to make up the difference.
