It was more like a casual chat, very open and friendly discussions with nice people. I was asked various questions about my teaching possibilities and field experience. They do require a PhD in hand for the specific subject I want to teach. I was not successful because I haven't finished mine yet.

The process started with a cover letter, CV, and links to performances and teaching. This was followed by a 20-minute Zoom call where 8 standard questions were asked. The next stage was an on-campus, full-day event which included a 30-minute performance, a masterclass, and interviews with the dean, chair, committee, faculty, and students. The school covered all fees. The school environment felt warm and friendly. Navigating the process was more difficult due to COVID, but everyone was respectful and mindful.

I applied and then had a phone screen, followed by an in-person interview for the Foundation Financial Services department. The whole thing was a pretty bad experience. They were late getting me in, and one interviewer just didn't seem into talking with me. Also, it felt like there wasn't much diversity in that part of the university. It wasn't a welcoming vibe at all. Honestly, I kind of regret even agreeing to interview there.

They asked about my previous experience, working projects, and my personality. Also discussed my openness to learning new technologies. There was an algorithmic test, and they asked about my attitude to initiate ideas and any leadership experience. They also checked for relevant experience to the requirements, willingness to work more, and concerns towards pay, and so on.
