Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fresh Gravity.
Data Scientist
The interview process involved an algorithm question to check if two strings are anagrams. The steps included inputting two strings, creating an array for each, traversing both strings to count alphabets in their respective arrays, and then checking if the arrays are equal to return true or false.
- What is c and why is it used?
Data Scientist
The interview process had three stages: first an HR call, then a manager interview, and finally a cultural fit interview. While the initial stages were positive, the last one felt a bit strange. What I really disliked about the interview process and the company is their tendency to make you wait for a long time, giving you the impression that an offer is coming, only for you to find out later that another candidate accepted the position. My advice is to keep interviewing with other companies, especially those that are larger and more reputable, even while you're in this waiting period.
- Can you tell me what aspects of your current company you find unsatisfactory?
Data Scientist
It was a telephonic interview. Worst experience. Completely wasted time and efforts. The interviewer himself was not knowledgeable. HR should take a note of this. Please do not waste people's valuable time.
- Can you describe a past data science project you were involved in?
