The interview went longer than scheduled by about 45 minutes, but it was a good experience overall because the interviewers were approachable and easy to connect with. The process included a typing speed test and a simulated email response to an upset customer. Initially, there was a phone interview, followed by a meeting with two managers. Later on, I met with the Co-founder.

I had a really kind person interview me. She was a Black woman and discussed the organization's need to reach a diverse community. Asked me about my own goals for diversity/inclusion. The interview was about 30-45 minutes and I received an offer about 2-3 days later from the nonprofit. The interview was through Zoom, so make sure your workspace is appropriate.

Brutal! 45 minutes of grilling me, sent away with a task and another half hour pulling my answer to pieces. However, it was well worth the agony and when I got the job and went out there, I could see that on reflection a rigorous interview process was essential as the role can be extremely demanding.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Didn't believe I had as many years experience as I did and had to justify and explain in detail every related role I'd worked in.
