First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Frenkel Lambert Weiss Weisman and Gordon.
Associate Attorney
It's a quick interview, mainly focusing on law school grades and previous work history. Don't expect multiple rounds with senior management. The whole thing should wrap up in about 45 minutes.
- Tell me about your background in real estate law.
Legal Assistant
I applied online and was contacted for an interview a few days later. The interview took place at the firm, where I met with two women. The first interviewer was very direct and seemed to treat me more like a student than a candidate. The second interviewer provided detailed information about the firm, its areas of expertise, and the responsibilities of the position. I noticed inconsistencies in the qualities and skills they were looking for in an ideal candidate, and the position was presented in a way that made it seem quite undesirable. Additionally, the salary mentioned was not acceptable. Although I am an entry-level candidate with limited office experience, I would not want a job where I am treated like a child.
- What is your typing speed?
Loan Modification Specialist
The office manager explained the benefits of the company since I already knew how to do the job. It was a casual and low-pressure interview in a private room. The office was nice, and the people were very friendly. They focused on the positives of working at their firm compared to my previous employer.
- What prompted your job change?
Paralegal
The whole interview took about an hour. I spoke with 4 different people. They were very clear about the responsibilities of the job. There's a background check and a check on my personal references. I heard back from HR right after everything checked out! The interview went well overall! They have offices in NYC, upstate NY, and Florida.
- Could you share your pay stubs as proof of income?
