First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Freight Farms.
Design Associate
So, this whole thing took about a month. It was 3 rounds. First, I chatted with the Art Director, then the Event Manager, both online. The last round was in person at their main office. I met with the marketing team, the CEO, and someone from HR, about 15 minutes with each, so an hour total. Everyone seemed really nice and friendly. After that last interview, they asked for some examples of my recent work and said I'd hear back by the end of the week. It's been almost 3 weeks now and I haven't heard anything. Total ghosting, which was pretty disappointing and unprofessional.

Farm Technician
I had two interviews for the Farm Technician role. The first was with my direct supervisor, and the second was with the department lead and the COO. The company was quick to get back to me and kept me informed throughout the process. I received a written offer within about two months of starting the interviews.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience in research or agriculture?
Staff Accountant
So, there were 3 rounds of interviews. First, after sending in my resume, they had me record a short 2-3 minute video introducing myself. Then, I had a video interview with the hiring manager and the founder. The last step was a quick chat with the CEO. The whole thing took about 2 months, but the actual interviews to getting the offer happened within a few weeks.
- What's your understanding of Freight Farms?
- Describe your ideal work environment.
- How do you envision your relationship with your manager?
Account Executive
I started by submitting a 2-minute video presentation and my resume, which was a cool way to practice my pitch. Got a response in 2 days to set up an interview with the CMO, James. We had a 30-minute Zoom call the following week. It was a pretty standard, open, and conversational interview focusing on sales approach and style. It seemed to go really well because he then invited me to come in and meet the CEO and others. I did a lot of research on what seems like a really innovative and well-backed product. I sent a thank you and follow-up right away, but didn't hear back. I followed up again after two weeks, and he apologized and said he'd schedule a second round. Still no follow-up. I pinged him a third time after another two weeks... and then nothing. Total ghosting, which is just disappointing.
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- Could you share some details about your background?
- How do you see yourself fitting into this role?
