First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Freeway Insurance.
Sales Agent
I sent my application and got an email setting up an interview. Then I went in person to meet with the store manager. They hired me right then and there, and I started a few days later.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- How would you deal with a customer who is upset or frustrated?
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations for a customer?
Insurance Broker
The interview process was super fast and smooth. They started with some questions to see if I had the drive to succeed, and then they went over the job description and daily responsibilities.
- How do you manage your daily tasks with different tools?
Call Center Agent
Got a call from my head manager at the office, we spoke for about 45 mins about the licensing and the job details. Then I went in for an interview with 3 floor managers. They wanted to see if I was open to learning, taking, and initiating their practices and if I was hungry to grind. We also discussed my ability to overcome objections and how prior selling experience could help.
- How do you handle constructive criticism?
Sales Agent
First, I talked to the office manager for about 30 minutes. Then, they set up a meeting for me with the district manager. Both of them were super helpful and gave me really clear and specific details about everything.
- Is the compensation acceptable to you?
- Are you aware that pay is determined by commission or salary, with the higher amount paid out every two weeks?
