First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Freeport-McMoRan.
Intern
I had a phone interview where they asked me about school projects and my engineering interests, and why I wanted this internship.
- Can you describe some of the projects you completed during your studies?
- What aspects of engineering are you most interested in?
- What motivates your interest in this specific internship opportunity?
Intern
I had a Hirevue (virtual) interview, then an interview with the talent acquisition team. I got my offer around February and then I was connected with my hiring manager at the site. It was a pretty fast process after getting the virtual interview invitation.
- What makes you want to work for Freeport?
Intern
I uploaded my resume through the company's career portal and then had a phone interview with a panel. The interview itself went well. They asked me some behavioral questions. The wait time to confirm my internship was a bit long, though.
- If you noticed a puddle on the floor, how would you handle it?
