It was a pretty straightforward process. I had one interview and got the offer by the end of the week. After accepting, I had to do a drug test. Then, I waited to hear back about the background and credit checks, and once those were cleared, they gave me my start date.

I first applied for the job opening, and then I was contacted by both an internal recruiter and an external recruiter independently. A phone screen with the internal recruiter was scheduled, but it was canceled without any explanation. I then proceeded with the external recruiter. After a very long process, which involved two separate half-day in-person team interviews and 23 phone calls, I received no feedback from the recruiter. Ultimately, I found out I didn't get the job. It wasn't a positive experience.

Behavioral Other

I knew someone within the company and they told me about open positions. I was then referred to the Regional Manager who brought me in for a face-to-face interview. I did a bunch of research on the company and was really happy with what I found. Since I have personal ties to the areas where they have a lot of properties, it felt like coming home to get this interview opportunity. The interview was chill, the manager was easy to talk to, overall a really relaxed and good experience. We talked in the apartment community model so we wouldn't be interrupted. They needed to fill the spot fast and I was able to start quickly. It all felt natural and easy; I decided to join the company before I even left the property. They asked if I would be available for a follow-up call in a day or so.
