Freelancers Union moved very fast. It started with a recruiter phone screen, then an in-person HR interview just two days later. The next day involved a full day of interviews with three different directors, one-on-one. Two days after that was a group interview with team members. Freelancers Union went from initial contact to offer in just one week.

Applied via LinkedIn and a corporate recruiter reached out via email. Had an initial phone interview with the recruiter, and after passing, I interviewed with a Senior Business Analyst. Received a good review and was then invited for in-person interviews. The first in-person interview was with two other Senior Business Analysts, followed by an interview with a Project Manager. This PM's interview style was very unstructured and they asked questions not relevant to the role, forming opinions based on those. That's where it ended for me. A consistent issue throughout was people being late, causing significant waits.

I applied by email and got a call a few days later to set up a basic HR phone interview. Then I got another call a few days later to schedule an interview with a team member, which went well. A few days after that, I got a call for an in-person interview. I had to ask HR for details about who I'd meet and what to expect for the in-person. During the in-person, I met with HR at a noisy cafe-style table and she explained the process: meet two Program Managers, maybe two more, and fill out an application. I spoke with two young, energetic Program Managers about the job and my background - it was a good chat, nothing unusual. For the next interview, I met the same person from the second phone interview, and also the head of Program Management. She seemed unfriendly and was trying to grill me. I think I bombed one question, and didn't get the job. I never heard back after the interviews. I sent thank you emails to everyone, emailed an article about similar projects within 5 days, and called HR about a week later. Still never heard anything.

I had a phone interview and then a written test where I had to draft responses to emails from freelancers. After that, I had an in-person meeting at their office. I thought I got the job and they gave me a start date. The start date passed and I hadn't heard anything, so I followed up by email four times and tried calling once, but I still haven't heard back about not getting the position.
