First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Freedom First Credit Union.
Executive Assistant
It felt very natural and friendly. It was a good give and take. I was able to fully explain my assets in previous positions. I had a phone interview first and then an on sight interview with the hiring manager. It was a good experience.

Cyber Security Analyst
In the final stages of my interviews, I met with three directors. They were really welcoming and made me feel comfortable. They asked deep questions about my past work, like my experiences and what I've achieved. They also wanted to know how my skills could help their team succeed and how I'd align with the company's future objectives. It was a good chat that gave me a good feeling about the company.
- Can you tell me about your background?
Teller
I met with HR and the branch manager at the branch for a typical interview. After they gave me the job offer, I went to central operations to meet with HR one-on-one, do a drug screening, and complete the necessary paperwork. The interview process has changed a lot since then. I think now there's a phone interview and an online personality test before you actually meet with any of the managers.
- What aspects of your previous employment did you not like?
Universalist Banker
First, there was a phone call with HR. Then, an in-person interview at the branch. Both rounds were good with questions. It wasn't too much. Onboarding is easy and HR helps. They tell you what you need and what's next. New Employee Orientation is great!
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations to help a customer?
