First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Freedom Communications.
Account Executive
It was a really good experience, though this was a long time ago and they had many roles open. The management seemed very positive and made it sound like a great place to work (which it was back then!). They gave me a tour and explained the benefits, like the 401k matching they offered. Just remember, this was years ago, so I'm not sure what it's like now.
- What do you enjoy about working in sales?
Advertising Sales
A recruiter reached out by phone and then set up an in-person meeting in California.
- If the office door is shut, how would you exit the room?
Marketing
I talked with HR about a marketing job (they wanted 15 years exp). We talked for about 90 minutes about marketing stuff, how I'd handle things, how to measure a campaign, and what tech worked well. Pretty basic stuff, I thought. She said she was excited and would talk to the hiring manager and get back to me in 3 days. I didn't hear back, and after 3 follow-up emails over 2 weeks, I still haven't heard anything. It's really unprofessional to ignore people.
- Can you tell me about a successful online marketing campaign you managed?
Account Executive
First, I had a phone chat with HR. Then, I had an in-person interview with HR and the Sales Manager. After that, I interviewed with the Sales Director. Finally, HR extended an offer.
