First, there was a 15-minute panel interview with Library employees where no questions were allowed. After this, candidates were scored and ranked. I was ranked in the thirties. Then, after 3-4 months, I was called for a second interview with two Regional Managers that lasted 45 minutes. Finally, I was asked to pick the branches I would most like to work at.

The interview was called an oral examination. It happened online with a group of staff. I had 15 minutes to answer a question that had a few parts. They wanted me to say which part I was answering as I went. No other questions were asked and I didn't get any feedback.

The whole thing wrapped up in about two weeks. I sent my application in online via the college's website. Got an email back pretty quickly to set up the interview. The interview itself was pretty straightforward, just some basic questions. They offered me the job right then and there. After that, the branch manager got in touch to sort out my start date.
