I interviewed with Fred Beans for a bookkeeper job. First, I had to do a personality test. The interview itself was pretty standard. Then, they had me do 3 more assessments. I followed up a bunch of times. The last I heard from HR was the recruiter telling me the Hiring Manager was still looking at my application. This was in early March, 2 weeks after the interview and assessments. They totally ghosted me. I don't recommend applying there, or even getting a car serviced or bought from them. If they can't even communicate with job applicants, imagine their customer service.

The interview process started well with great communication and promptness for the initial phone screen and the first two rounds. This part took about two weeks. However, after that, all contact stopped, and I received confusing information about when I'd hear back. I reached out several times, only to get an automated rejection email that didn't explain why I wasn't selected.

Behavioral Technical

It started with a recruiter call, then a personality survey. The recruiter called back the next day to set up an interview, which was a general vibe check. After that, I took some tests that took about an hour and made me think. The recruiter told me the results usually take 48 hours before they go to the hiring manager. I heard back from the recruiter within a few days to schedule the second interview. The service manager and recruiter were accommodating since I was still working. I met with the service manager, who discussed the role in more detail and made me an offer, contingent on a background check and drug screen. A day or two later, the recruiter confirmed the background check was clear and scheduled the drug screen. After that, I had a paperwork meeting and started after my two weeks' notice.

I had a phone interview, then a personality survey. After that, I spoke with a recruiter, which was nice. Finally, I interviewed with the sales manager at the dealership. They explained the schedule and pay plan, and clarified the role. They were upfront that sales isn't for everyone, but if you work hard, you can do well.
