The interview process was very straightforward, and the attorneys were really welcoming. They asked some basic questions about my background and what I was looking for. I'm happy they gave me the opportunity and that I got hired. It was a valuable learning experience and I gained a lot of useful information.

Two very nice women interviewed me, it was more of a dialogue. They asked questions about my ability to handle stress and to give some examples of when I had experienced stress in the past. No call, no email, no follow-up. I emailed a thank you note and never heard a word.

I got a call from F&P saying they were interested in me interviewing for a paralegal position, and I was excited because the company has a good reputation. My first interview was with the Office Manager. She explained what to expect if I made it to the second round, described the position, and mentioned the attorney I'd be working for could be 'unique,' but didn't elaborate. I was called back for a second interview, which I took as a good sign. I met with the attorney and got a better feel for the day-to-day. He seemed gruff but manageable. I felt like a good fit at the end of the interview. Unfortunately, over a week went by, and my many calls weren't returned. After trying for the fifth time to reach someone about the position (major red flag), I heard from the Office Manager. She said they'd hired someone with more experience and that she 'agreed with the decision.' That statement left me feeling awful, like I didn't stand a chance against this other candidate. Overall, the experience was okay. The Office Manager could be more considerate with her words, but she doesn't have to deal with the other person anymore, and it shows she doesn't care about maintaining a professional relationship.

I met with the Office Manager and another person. They asked me to write a short paper on why I'd be a good hire. Then I had a follow-up phone interview with 2 attorneys. Everyone I interviewed with made me feel comfortable.
