I put in my application on ZipRecruiter, and they got back to me pretty fast by phone. Then they reached out via email and text message. They had me do some recorded answers to questions, and then the next day I had a live Zoom meeting with someone.

I had my first interview with Nadia, who was great! She explained in detail what to expect and took the time to ask about my personal interests. Then, I had a second round interview with one of their account managers. They gave me an in-depth look at the position and showed me how I could advance my career!

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process felt like a scam, similar to other multi-level marketing schemes. It started with a phone screening where they made me feel like a good candidate before revealing the actual job: selling DirecTV in a store. The third interview was supposed to be at a coffee shop because their office was too small, and there were about ten other people interviewing. This was a huge red flag. After that, they ghosted me without any explanation. A quick search revealed similar companies targeting recent graduates with false promises of quick promotions and business ownership. I'd only consider this if I had no other job offers, and even then, expect to work on commission, possibly at a booth outside Costco.

Three interviews total. They really cared about my interpersonal skills, which makes sense for the sales and leadership parts of the job. The second interview was a coffee chat with someone on the team, which was cool to get real talk about the company culture and management.
