Product Owner
First, there was a face-to-face meeting with technical HR, followed by a test with Product Owner-curated questions about topics like SaaS, product backlog, user stories, and use cases. The second round was with the Team Manager, who asked basic questions related to my degree.
- Can you explain what a product backlog is?
- What are the duties and accountabilities of a Product Owner?
- Could you outline the distinctions between service-based and product-based companies?
Customer Success Manager
I applied for the CSM role through the company site and they got in touch for a screening call. It was pretty straightforward: first a screening call, then a second with the CSM team, a third with Account Management, and a fourth with Customer Operations. After that, I sent a follow-up and heard they'd meet the next week to decide on next steps. I followed up again the following week and was told they had a few more final interviews to do before deciding who would move to the final round and that they'd be in touch soon. I never heard back. I know companies can't reply to everyone, but if you've gone through multiple interview rounds, I think a response is deserved, even if they picked someone else.
- How many accounts did you manage in your most recent position?
Product Owner Intern
It was a walk-in interview and there were 4 rounds in total. The HR round was super quick, only about 5 minutes. Then there was a task to write a user manual for either WhatsApp or YouTube. After that, I had an interview with a member of the product team, followed by an interview with the director. All the rounds were quite short, and the whole process only took about 1-2 hours for everyone.
- Could you define the role of a Product Owner and explain their duties?
- What motivates your desire to become a Product Owner?
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
Intern
So the interview process starts with a screening interview, usually by a recruiter or HR, to see if you basically meet the requirements. If that goes well, you'll have a phone interview, which is a bit more in-depth to get a better sense of your skills and interest. Finally, if you pass the phone interview, there's an in-person interview, which is the main one where you'll meet the hiring manager and other important people.
- Can you discuss your prior experience with SSO?
- What's your background with Kubernetes?
- Could you share your experience with cloud platforms?
