Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at francesca's.
Assistant Manager
The interview process was about 30 minutes long and fairly easy. The first interview was with a boutique manager and the second interview was with a district manager. Both interviews lasted about 30-45 minutes. At the end of the first interview with the manager, I had to pick out an outfit for a specific person and describe why I picked out the outfit and to what event the person who I dressed was going.
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict at work and how you handled it.
- Can you choose an outfit for a specific person and explain your choice and the event they would be attending?
Assistant Manager
It was a casual and easy interview. They asked me about fashion and how long I planned to stay. They seemed concerned that as a recent grad, I might not stay very long and asked about my career path.
- Could you explain your interest in working here?
- Describe your personal style and fashion sense.
- What are your long-term intentions regarding staying with the company?
Assistant Manager
I met with the Store Manager and we discussed my previous work history and the details of the role. They asked me hypothetical questions about how I would handle specific situations and inquired about my customer interaction skills.
- Can you describe your duties in your prior management position?
- Have you ever worked for a company in our industry before?
