I found the job posting online and applied through the francesca's website. About a week after applying, I got a call for an interview and had it the following week. It felt really comfortable and conversational. They asked open-ended questions. Towards the end, I had to put together an outfit and explain my choices, which I thought was great because it let me show off my fashion sense and creativity.
- Tell me about a time you established a strong connection with a coworker.
- Create an outfit and describe your reasoning for the item pairings.
Associate
I applied online and then had an interview at the regional center with the hiring manager. It was pretty formal, but she was nice and laid back. Asked questions about myself as well as what I knew about Francesca's. I was given a scenario and a client and was sent around the store to create a 5 piece outfit for them and presented it to her.
- What is your knowledge about Francesca's?
- Tell me about yourself.
- You'll be given a scenario and a client, create a 5 piece outfit for them from around the store and present it to me.
Associate
It was pretty easy but they made sure to check everything. They had me style some outfits and then I talked to the manager. We talked about my style, my experience in the fashion world, and if I'd used a cash register before. Pretty standard questions, nothing too surprising.
- How would you describe your personal style?
- Could you assemble some outfits?
- What's your personal style like?
