It was a long interview process with lots of delays. It took about two months to get to the second interview. They sent over the questions before the interviews, which was a bit different.

I had a really good time interviewing for this arts education job with the DOE. Talking to a bunch of different people really made the process feel complete and showed how we'd all work together in the role. Even though I'm pretty new, they made me feel like my input mattered, which was nice and made things feel genuine. It was a bummer that the hiring process took so long and wasn't super clear, and the pay wasn't great either. But the interviewers were genuinely so kind and thoughtful, and that's what I remember most.

It was a two-round interview process. The first round was a meet-and-greet, and the second was a remote pair programming technical interview. This was honestly the greatest interview I've ever had; it was fun, challenging, and the team really did their best to help me shine. I could tell the team enjoyed being there and wanted to create a great shared experience. It felt amazing!

The first interview was an asynchronous video interview using Spark Hire. Then, there was a Zoom interview with the Hiring Manager(s) and someone from the People Team. I didn't move on to the next steps, which involved a project and another Zoom interview.
