The interview process had 2 rounds, both at the same level, focusing on basic algorithms and projects. There was also a small case study concerning a banking project. Overall, it felt easy. Before these rounds, there were separate SQL and Python rounds.

The interview process started with a basic aptitude test. This was followed by a technical test with 4 SQL and 4 coding questions. After a shortlisting, there were three elimination rounds. The first was a problem-solving round where they asked about past projects and how to approach market entry and profitability case studies. Then came a business understanding round with guesstimates and probability questions, where the focus was on your answer structure and approach, with basic probability questions. Finally, there was an HR round with typical questions like strengths, weaknesses, values, and why you want to join Fractal.

It started with a written exam covering logic, maths, and vocabulary. Then there were technical questions focused on econometrics, and finally a business case study round. Different panels conducted each part. While the interviews were challenging, the panel members were friendly and put me at ease.
