Tester
First, they'll look at your CV. If you make the cut, the HR person will give you a call to set up the second round. Finally, you'll have an in-person interview with a senior team member from the department you're looking to join.
- Can you tell me about the technologies or techniques you used in your projects? Were there any challenges you faced?
- What difficulties did you experience throughout the process?
Associate Consultant
Super straightforward process. Applied through my University, submitted an application and resume. Recruiter reached out for an essay questionnaire. If they liked my answers, I got invited to two separate phone interviews about my background and qualifications. Passed those? Then it was an on-site interview with a panel of superiors and hiring managers. Everyone was really pleasant and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole thing.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experiences and explain what makes you stand out compared to other applicants?
- What differentiates you from the other candidates?
Consultant
Intellinet HR reached out about a SharePoint Consultant role. The first call with a current SharePoint employee was good; they asked insightful questions about my tech skills. I was interested in learning more. A second phone interview was scheduled with someone out of state due to scheduling issues. This call felt okay; it was mostly about Intellinet, with only a few background questions. I was surprised when they ended it without much probing. Later that day, HR said they weren't moving forward because I 'missed a large number of questions.' I'm not sure which questions they meant, and if they had offered, I would have declined. The ending was weird, but I guess it could have been a personality fit thing, though they should have just said that instead of the 'questions missed' excuse.
- What challenges did you face with SharePoint administration, especially given your development background?
SharePoint Consultant
The entire interview process was quite thorough. First, there was an initial chat with the recruiter that felt really relaxed, almost like catching up with an old friend. Then came a technical interview, which was the toughest I've ever faced but also the most impressive one I've experienced. Following that, there were a few more rounds focused on personality to see how well I'd mesh with the existing team.
- Have you worked as a consultant previously?
