Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process included two phone interviews, one with a recruiter and another with a team member, each lasting about an hour. The interviews went well, and I felt relaxed. At the end, I was asked to complete a sound design test. Although I don't usually do tests, I agreed because I'm interested in working on challenging projects. The test involved creating sound for four different videos, focusing on character abilities. I completed and submitted the test within the 7-day timeframe. After 10 days, I inquired about an update and feedback, but received no response. I followed up again and was informed that they had chosen another candidate. A major red flag was the lack of respect shown; they didn't provide any feedback on my test, despite my two follow-up requests. I don't know why my application was declined, and they left me completely in the dark, never responding afterward. The treatment of candidates was poor. It's noteworthy that my application is still listed as 'under consideration' on the official career website for 21st Century Fox, which highlights their unprofessionalism and makes this one of the worst recruitment experiences I've had.

I had a terrible interview experience. After an in-person interview, I heard nothing from the recruiter for two months. I reached out a month after the interview and was told they would check with the team, but never got a response. Another month later, I followed up again and finally got a rejection email. It was a really unprofessional way to treat candidates.

The whole hiring thing took a few months, with some ups and downs with scheduling because people were moving around, which is fine. It was super long but okay because I got in through people I knew. There were a bunch of phone chats, some chill onsite meetings with coffee and a tour, and then a serious full-day interview panel. The calls and casual chats were like 45 mins to an hour. The main panel thing took all day, and in my case, multiple days. What was kinda rough was that recruiting didn't really follow up much, I had to chase them for updates. It was surprising how little communication there was. Also, after all those interviews, they never got back to me about the decision. Since it was a management gig, a simple 'yes' or 'no' would've been nice, but they didn't even bother after all those panel interviews.

The interview process was really bad. I had a few phone interviews that kept getting rescheduled last minute. Then, I had a full day of meetings. I had to take a day off from my current job for it. After that, the HR team just ghosted me, no feedback or anything. I followed up a month later and still heard nothing. A simple 'thanks but we went with someone else' would have been fine, but I got nothing. It seems like this is still happening based on other reviews, and the recruitment team needs serious training on professionalism. They don't know what they're doing. I'm glad I dodged this job.
