First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fox Racing.
Master Data Specialist
I had a screening zoom call with the recruiter, who initially didn't respond to my LinkedIn inquiry about the role. During the call, she confirmed my willingness to commute, detailing the significant travel time to their hybrid office (3 days in, 2 remote). I suggested a compromise on the commute, but they wouldn't adjust the in-office days, even though the work could be done remotely. Despite this, I expressed interest in proceeding. The interview included some challenging questions. The call, about 10 minutes long, concluded with a promise of feedback within days, after which I was ghosted. This was quite unprofessional.
- How would you conduct a root cause analysis to identify problems in your tasks or projects?
Product Development Engineer
Had a 30min recruiter screen, but they no-showed the first time. Then had a 1 on 1 with the hiring manager for an hour, where they asked some technical questions and did a background check. Kept checking in with no updates and then got totally ghosted with no feedback on why I wasn't moving forward. Very frustrating and unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about a time you encountered and solved a problem?
Retail Store Manager
They really string you along. After some email conversations and a call or two, they just ghost you. I don't get why they would put in the effort just to ghost. They should just tell people they didn't get the job. Their HR department is super unprofessional about it.
- Can you tell me about your experience in retail?
- Do you enjoy mountain biking?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was pretty straightforward. The HR team was great! No weird questions were asked. You'll likely meet with the Manager and some other team members before they decide to move forward with you.
- What would you do in various scenarios?
