First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Foundry.
Customer Contact Agent
The interview experience was pretty straightforward. I showed up and spoke with two interviewers, who I suspect were attempting a good cop-bad cop strategy. One interviewer consistently conveyed annoyance at having to be there and at my responses. Both interviewers seemed unprepared. Despite one being pleasant, the overall process felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. My salary inquiry was met with an unprofessional sidestep. The entire interview lasted about 40 minutes, but ultimately felt unproductive. The connection just wasn't there, and it wasn't what I was seeking.
- Questions regarding your CV
- Are you looking for a long-term or short-term commitment?
- Can you describe a time you achieved something significant?
Lead Generation Agent
The interview process began with a phone screening where they asked a few questions about my CV and my motivation to join the company. They informed me immediately after the screening whether I would proceed to the face-to-face interview with two interviewers: a supervisor and a team leader. I personally did not enjoy the interview experience, finding it unprofessional and the work environment not to my liking.
- Could you discuss your resume?
- What are your reasons for seeking employment with our organization?
Contact Centre Agent
They asked general questions about me, my achievements, and teamwork. They also asked what I did in certain situations, like when someone was testing me. They asked how I prepared for the interview and about my customer service experience. I did a role play of a mock call. They asked me to describe myself in 3 words and what I know about IDG and their work. Finally, they asked if I knew what I was going to be doing and how I felt about it.
- How did you prepare for this interview?
Contact Center Agent
I got a phone call from HR first to set up a phone interview for a couple of days later. They asked common questions like if I've worked on a team, to give an example of when my team beat goals, how I've hit my own goals, my reasons for wanting to work at IDG, and how I found out about them.
- Can you tell me about your experience working in a team?
- Could you share an instance where your team surpassed its targets?
- What has been your personal experience in meeting performance goals?
