First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Foundry Commercial.
Real Estate Broker
Got referred by a family friend. Ended up interviewing with 3 of the principals at the firm. It was pretty chill. They asked about my personal background and my academic background.
- What value would you add to our team as an associate broker?
Analyst
The interview was pretty straightforward and moved along quickly. I interviewed in Charlotte, and the person I spoke with was really pleasant. They were very clear about the role and discussed the company's future growth plans. The interviewer was keen to fill the position fast, so they asked detailed questions. The whole interview took about 2 hours.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
Real Estate Manager
I met with the team I would be supporting and managing, as well as the director. The focus was mostly on discussing my past experience and understanding of the role. They also asked about my goals in property management and how I've balanced managing people with managing assets.
- Can you describe a situation from your past where you encountered adversity in your role?
- What are your aspirations and goals within the property management field?
- Describe your approach to managing both people and assets concurrently.
Property Manager
They were really nice to talk to, asking general questions about my past work and education, then moving into some more big-picture questions. They want you to be thinking about the future, like they are.
- What are your career aspirations for the next 3, 5, and 10 years?
