Specialist
The organization’s mission and programs are genuinely meaningful, and the staff I interacted with seemed passionate about supporting students and workforce development in California. The interviewers were friendly and professional throughout each stage. However, the hiring process was extremely slow and disorganized. After multiple rounds of interviews, including a final interview, I waited several weeks with no communication or update. Despite following up, I received no response or closure. It was disappointing to invest so much time and interest in the role only to be left waiting nearly a month without feedback or a decision. Please improve your candidate communication process. Even a short update or courtesy email after a final interview goes a long way toward maintaining professionalism and respect for applicants’ time.
- Can you describe your experience providing technical support to a partner?
Paralegal
it was easy, the interviewers were super friendly but do expect some law questions, just basics though. they would ask about your past work experience, academic qualification and why you are interested with the firm.
- Why are you more interested in the conveyancing department than civil litigation?
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- What are your academic qualifications?

I had an initial screening call in December, followed by a round 1 interview in January, and then round 2 in February. The second round was all about the organization’s culture and their "direct feedback" model. After not getting an offer, I reached out to ask for some feedback. No response, so I figured maybe they missed it. A few weeks went by, and I sent another email politely asking for feedback. Still nothing. It's kinda funny how they emphasize feedback so much, but then they just ghost you after months of interviews. Guess they might need feedback more than I do! Hope this helps.
- What is your understanding of due diligence?
Supervisor
I was interviewing for a previous position that I left because my contract ended. I always got great performance reviews. The job opened up again after I was gone for 6 months, so I reapplied. Recruiting kept promising me an interview, but I kept getting the runaround. Finally, I got an interview with my old managers. I thought I would hear back soon because it felt like catching up with old coworkers about the project. It's been about 6 months since the interview, and I haven't heard anything, not even a denial email. I had great relationships with this organization. I found out my applicant account was frozen after I tried many times to find out why recruiter James Thomas never told me they weren't moving forward. I was promised an answer, but then found out from current employees that a current employee got the job a few days later. I'd advise executive leadership to be careful who they hire because this was a huge letdown, especially since I left on good terms.
