The interview was conducted in Chinese. I was asked many questions about computer networks and Python. We also discussed projects from my resume, but there were no LeetCode-style questions. The HR person was a bit rude. The entire process was in Chinese.

I applied for a QA role and had two phone screens where we chatted about my skills, what the company needs, and our shared goals. After that, I was invited for an onsite interview with four people. I had a 45-minute technical quiz, mostly covering Linux, protocols, RAIDs, networking, and packet analysis. Then, there was a 1.5-hour Q&A with the four interviewers. Weirdly, no one asked about my QA experience or even introduced themselves, and not a word was said about the company or the position. It dawned on me during the interview that they were actually interviewing me for a SysAdmin job, not QA! They seemed a bit confused too, as they were all system administrators and apparently unaware I was there for a QA role. I emailed the HR coordinator about the situation but haven't heard back. Pretty disappointing experience.

So there were 5 rounds in total. First was an MCQ and basic Selenium coding on Hackerrank, with MCQs on Linux commands and testing concepts. Then a Sr QA guy asked about testing concepts and a specific string concatenation problem (String='Welcome' to get W We Wel Welc Welco Welcom Welcome). The third round was another Hackerrank test with 2 questions, one manual and one automation, with a 4-day deadline. After that, the Sr Manager and QA director interviewed me, asking about manual testing, basic Linux commands, and if I could write test cases. They also asked about the Hackerrank test. They then put me on hold for about a month and a half. Finally, the last round checked my domain knowledge, with questions on Cyber Security and my current role's responsibilities. It was a good experience, challenging interviews overall.
