Started with a phone screen and then met my future manager and territory manager in person. It was pretty laid back and they were upfront about the job's responsibilities and potential downsides.

So, for the Clinical Technology Specialist role at Fortec Medica, I had this panel interview. It was with the Senior Clinical Applications Manager, the Technical Product Lead, and someone from HR. They kicked it off by telling me about Fortec Medica and how they're big in medical tech, aiming to make clinical stuff and patient results better with their surgical and diagnostic systems. They explained the job is like a link between the doctors and the tech side, so you'd be helping with setting up systems, training the hospital folks, being there during surgeries, and making sure the equipment works great. They really dug into whether I knew my clinical stuff, if I was good with medical devices and imaging tech, and if I could talk easily to both the medical people and the tech guys. They asked me some 'what if' questions to see how I'd handle problems when things get hectic and how I'd deal with different hospital settings. The HR part was about fitting in with the team, being flexible, and matching Fortec Medica's 'Clinical Excellence through Innovation' vibe. To wrap up, we chatted about growing in the job, how they bring new people on board, and what's next, which apparently is a technical test and checking my references.

The interview process started with a recruiter phone call for screening. After that, I had an onsite interview with the hiring manager. The questions asked were pretty standard about my experience, and they threw in a few behavioral ones for screening. The onsite interview was quite casual, without any behavioral questions, and mainly involved discussing the company and the job duties.
